Cool, I'm glad they included practice modes. I know people asked for this. I'm guessing they will be pitching, batting, fielding, and base running.

I hope they have a batting practice one where you can get the feel of the strikezone and practice hitting the ball to all fields!

That's a pretty good, reasonable list of achievements (though I despise when games have secret achievements).

Not a big fan of card collecting achievements. IMO that stuff should be left to RPGs and other games like that. No biggie, I'm not an achievement whore so it won't force me to play cards...lol.

Other than that small gripe, it seems like a reasonable enough list. Spread out evenly, I think.

Unlock all Achievements

Long Balls (5 points)
Hit 25 Home Runs with your User Profile

Even More Long Balls (10 points)

Online playing isn't that big of a deal with these achievements. That's pretty solid. Those look appealing.

I'm going to have A LOT of fun unlocking those.

Don't know about the "Grand Poobah" one though because of...

Hopefully it will be, but if the game is anything like the last 2 games then it will be really easy. I think its a great list, and I'm really glad they left multiplayer achievements out of it.

With it being only a 10-point achievement, I wonder if you have to hit them with one player. Three home runs as a team would be simple enough to hit.

Silly me...I completely misread it...I was thinking it said hit 3 three-run HRs in a game.

Yea...3 HOMERS in a game is nothing...especially considering the ease of hitting one circa 2K6-8.

PS3Trophies.org has the same list with the secret achievements.

Likely 5 pointers(bronze on PS3):
Hard Knocks - Hit three batters in a row
Expect the Unexpected - Drive in a run with a pitcher during a game

Likely 50 pointers(silver or gold on PS3):
Ya Can't Get Fooled Again - Strike out a batter and throw out a runner on the same play
That's All Folks - Hit a home run to win a game
This Old Man Came Rolling Home - Steal Home
Vicious Cycle - Hit a home run, triple, double and single in one game with one player
Untouchable - Throw a No Hitter with one pitcher in a game
