Looks like we are going to get some Major League Baseball 2K9 info on Monday, according to one of the Admins at 2K Sports.

lol...well SCEA has already dropped a couple screen shots on us and told us about some features that were in or out. Minor stuff to be sure, but I'd say they're in the lead.

Oh, and can't forget the fact they sent in a list of our names and pronounciations to try and get more of us in their audio database...pretty cool

Enough of that though...I'm sure 2K will show some decent stuff off as release draws closer. All is not lost fellas...it's only December.

Well I hope we get more out of this then I anticipated, TURBO better not make it back into the game DAMN IT!

Anyway sorry if I made to much of this by making this thread but on the other hand some of this stuff is cool and if it continues past tomorrow then it will be way cool.

Wow they really gave fans the stiff one with this sliver of info. My opinion, people need alittle more that what they got because 2K8 was so bad that people need something to make them interested in the game coming out. All they need to do is give some examples of things that they are working on without giving away too many early spoilers. Atleast we know we can expect a solid game with MLB The Show!

My major concern is. Even if they nail a "decent" game ... 2K has been riddled with bugs in their sports titles this gaming generation, with little to no effort to support the community and fix them. I hope, coming with a new game that is better than the previous, is pumped up support for people who shell out $60 for your product.

Yeah, rather disappointing ... nothing cool at all about the marketing bot sitting there playing 2K8, and acting like he enjoys it.

The only thing he is enjoying, is the paycheck he is caching at the end of the week.

(Though he is a fantastic pitcher, and an over-achiever like Pedroia. Love seeing these little guys give 110% all the time. I just hope he doesnt become injury prone, with such a small frame)

Dont they realize people want 2K9 info, not watch the cover boy play the game they were disappointed with, and hoping improves?

They just better hope their marketing team dont keep people in the dark like they did last year.

Kinda cool to see their mo-cap software is Windows. I thought all that stuff was done in a Unix environment.

I would prefer info on MLB2k9 like everyone else. But this behind the scenes stuff is pretty good aswell.

Whats with the woman in the last picture? Girls cant play baseball (unless thats a small guy)

I was wondering the same thing. And then that lead me to believe that maybe they had a woman (not sexist) do the mocap for the running. The baserunners run funny, kinda with the feet opposite of pigeon toed (pointed outwards). lol
