NCAA Basketball 09 Xbox 360 Community Roster Project

Hi folks,

I saw that BehindShadows is planning on releasing a roster set as soon as he can finish up. Problem with that is he's going to be editing players attributes, looks, etc, as he goes along.

I've always been of the mindset that I prefer to use the rosters the way they came with the game. When you start editing attributes, inevitably, you're going to have a bias towards one team or another and the file won't come out the way it should.

We'll pass the roster file around using the EA Locker. It's important to note that under no circumstances should anything other than a player's name, his height/weight, race, or jersey number be edited. LEAVE THE ATTRIBUTES ALONE!

So...with that said, we need volunteers. Below is a list of all the conferences, along with whether or not they've been done, and by whom they've been edited. Rather than using their OS names, I'm using their gamertags instead so it'll be easier to get the file from, in the EA Locker.

Terpspimp G/T c2woodsonmvp has the latest file, but it soon will have 4 more on it.

How long does it usually take to do a conference? With and without keyboard?

Can you plug a laptop into the Xbox and use the kes on the laptop?

I can still do the Horizon league and MVC if needed.

powder: sun belt and southland (currently working on)
ME aka terps: MEAC and SUMMITT
MATT: HORIZON and MVC

morning bowld i got your latest file, whenever someone finishes i download it from them and put it in my locker so ppl that are only freinds with me and get the latest roster file. grrat work guys

Well guys, seems I'm only going to be getting the Sun Belt done here. Should wrap it up in 20-30 min. It makes it really hard when EA puts 7 juniors on a team that really has 1.

Blue Ribbon what?!?!?!

BillDo, looks like we(Purdue fans) will have to add Lewis Jackson because EA didn't put him on there and I don't think Terps put him on their roster, di you Terp? I am pretty sure you did the B10?

Anyways, the team preview for Purdue in the preseason menu of a dynasty says something about getting recruit Lewis Jackson, then they don't even put him in the game.

Oh you know i'll be adding LewJack and the other freshman. They have Hummel as a Frosh too.

AND neither Robbie Hummel, Keton Grant, nor E'Twaun Moore have a "3" under them in the game. Even tho they all shot above 40% last year and finished 2,3,4 in the Big10 in 3 pt % (or something to that effect).

If you go to ESPN team previews (who actually teamed up with Blue Ribbon) it talks about Purdue being lights out from 3. Way to team up with Blue Ribbon EA!

I really appreciate you guys putting this all together. I wish I could help but I am currently bogged down at work - but I love doing rosters and if ever needed in the future for them simple PM me ahead of time and I certainly will help.

Just say when! I guess I will have to add someone as a Friend to get the rosters - OR maybe I guess if we know the gamertag we will see it online as a few not on my FL have been posted but they do not have full ones done.

Preciate it Terpspimp for the good looking out last night with the rosters. Like I said, did notice that Jonny Flynn's name (Syracuse) was spelled wrong. There is no "h" in his name. Greg Monroe on Georgetown was white and listed as being from Kansas (but he's black in real life and from Louisiana). On the Memphis Tigers, the "h" is missing in Wesley Witherspoon's name.

And yeah EA messed up with the classification and homestates on a lot of teams.

Anyways these are just samll things and might have been caught already by you guys. Just throwing stuff out there. Preciate the love cause you guys didnt have to take time out to do it anyways and then share.
