Madden 09 Roster Update #4 Details (Pasta Padre)

Pasta Padre has posted roster update details of Madden NFL 09.

	"The fourth roster update for Madden 09 is currently set to be out later today. EA is attempting to release an update every week now and that consistency is welcome. This update includes Shawne Merriman going to the IR, all the receiver changes for the Seahawks (except for Nate Burleson to the IR?), the Broncos receive the benefit of several ratings increases, and Adrian Peterson moves up to a 98."

Do these updates change depth charts or just ratings?

Will Griese be starting for the Bucs and Gus for the Vikings?

Yeah they change depth charts, most likely those changes will be in. If not, it shouldnt hurt too much to manually make the QB switch ourselves.

^ No. It's just a roster update. No uniform adjustments can be made during a roster update. The only two exceptions were when they added gloves to David Carr and Kurt Warner, but that was different because you are even allowed to make an edit like that on your own.

Do they archive previous roster updates? I would like to use week 1 rosters (brady still starting, ect . . .) when I start my dynasty.

Yep. I started my franchise yesterday and forgot to turn pre-existing injuries on, so I wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes for nothing.

Are these released yet? I keep being prompted to DL every time, but every time the rosters aren't updated. For example Al Wilson is still in FA and such.

Great! Thanks for the tip. So if I turn pre-existing injuries off, will I still have the ratings update for the players that have been re-rated?

Very good for the Titans. Finnegan gets a nice deserved bump to 92, Chris Johnson is now the starter and is wearing 28, Jason Jones gets some love, and Simms is on the roster. Only issue is Johnson doesn't return kicks.

i have a quick question about adding pictures. How is it (atleast for the Chargers, i havent checked other teams because i don't really knowwho they add) that they can add pictures with the new players. Example, roster update 3 added Tim Dobbins and this update added Antwan Applewhite. Both of these players have pictures and were not in the game prior to these updates. How is it that they add pictures for them but guys like Paul Oliver and Mike Tolbert still do not have them (and other guys without them)? I'm just curious and interested not complaining.
