If the date is correct, thats next week! I'll definitely be getting it either way. Sept. or October doesn't matter.
Nice Trailer By the way! Very nice player models are really detailed and nice skin texture, people look like they got weight and nice footplanting.

Well, by CGI, I think he's referring to a scripted trailer like that Arenas-based one last year where he turned around before the shot fell. That was polished like crazy and was a scripted trailer... It was within the game engine but everything looked and moved better than Live 08 did... very obvious. It was a cool video, but I think that's what he was getting at...
Not like that 2K KG shot with his shoe and then grabbing the rim -- THAT one was obviously CGI. This Live video is definitely in the engine.. I don't see anything to say otherwise, you can still see some jankiness happening, so if it's CGI, they need to step their game up... Like Pared said, you can trigger whatever impressive moves you want to show off and rig situations to create exciting and impressive trailers with a devkit, but that doesn't mean that it's not gameplay (or in this case, probably a replay).

Most of it does look real but the animations that threw me off were the between the legs move in the practice gym with Deron Williams I have done a lot of combos with P.Pierce but never saw anything like that...Also when G.Arenas threw it between Howard's legs then does that cool passing and dribbling animation...Lets hope that was all gameplay...

looked oddly similar to that scripted Live 08 video. good trailer nonetheless.
That trailer was flat out sick. I loved it. Cant' wait for game to drop. Hopefully it's the 23rd. VC's dunk.. nasty. KG's block... hard core.... Lebron's headband.... WRONG... haha. But Prince's dunk and Sheed's expressions were classic.
Yeah, that trailer is definitely "touched up" lol. Think Tony Parker on the title screen of the demo vs tony parker on the main menu. Definitely not in game, they don't even look as good as that in replay mode.

Just watched the trailer, pretty nice, but since when was traveling allowed in the nba, Look at the video and Look at Arenas, he travels the ball unbelievably...

This is a bullshot trailer. The gameplay based on the demo and other videos released looks nothing like this. If I'm wrong then I will be enjoying myself even more this fall, but I highly doubt these are in game highlights. Everything looks way too scripted.
