NHL 2K9 Developer Diary #4 - Double Dose

This week's NHL 2K9 Developer Diary features a double dose of web related action with diaries from Online Producer Felicia Whitehouse and Web Engineer Tristan Hodge about their respective work on NHL 2K9. This feature looks really good. I am being swayed heavily right now to pick this one up.

Overall, it definitely sounds like 2K has done a good job on the game and it's new features thus far. We should have a review up tomorrow, we'll see what kind of progress 2K has made! Unless the review is glowingly negative (very doubtful) this one will probably be worth picking up.

I'm one of I guess a few that doesn't care about online play. I would rather the resources go to gameplay or an Owner Mode that is fully featured.

Online leagues rock, especially with the amount of stats they seem to add. For me , online leagues is the future of sport games.

Nothing even comes close to a well-managed online video game league, and the only company that does it right is 2K (sans some of the annoying bugs of the past).

Great to see that the PS3 finally has webiste access - it was always frustrating to know that the PS2 leagues had websites but not the PS3 leagues.
