Teamxbox has posted their preview of NBA 2K9.

NBA 2K9 is being designed for faster-paced action, but there�s also more risk in a crowd�it�s tougher to connect with a pass into the key to a teammate and, when you�re playing against the computer, the AI has been tuned to give you a tougher time."

All this stuff is nice, but I am actually concerned w/ the financial aspects of NBA 2k9 in the Association 2.0 mode. I'm praying (not literally) that they make that as true to life as possible like the ability to go over the luxury tax as long as team revenues allow it (ie. my C's) which in turn will allow us to keep emerging rookies on our team as there ratings and escalating asking price go up.

I know that the C's were willing to go into the $ for $ luxury tax threshold for the sake of winning a championship b/c they knew the added revenue would be there to cover it. I would LOVE for that type of dynamic to be in this game.

Keeping an eye out for this "lifting the bar on presentaion" and the Association 2.0 but, like many years past, I cant get myself too hyped.

Again with the small hints at the Association 2.0 enhancements. I'm really hoping that they will reveal more at GC in Leipzig this week

Is the whole "youtube" only for the ps3 or for the 360 as well ???

I remember i while back sony announcing something about the ps3 being able to do this.

It's for both systems. They have this functionality in the NHL 2K9 online leagues according to those official screenshots/descriptions that were posted. Since NBA has always used the same leagues framework as NHL, it should be basically the same again. There is an interface where you choose highlights/photos from the game and then they'll automatically be uploaded to the server and will be tied to the game box score and automatically associated with the league. I assume the functionality would be the same for offline and regular online games.

I would hesitate to say that it's confirmed for PS3 if anything... just because I wasn't clear if they will have the actual league interface like 360 does. I'd assume it would work for both though...
