IGN has posted a article called NBA Live 09 Signature Play Calling. There is also a video posted in the article.

Quote:
"One of the ways that EA is leveraging their Dynamic DNA technology into NBA Live 09 this year is through the new Signature Play Calling feature. It's exactly what it sounds like -- each team calls plays that match up with the plays and offensive sets they run most frequently in real-life."

I hate to spam on this thread but...

We were complaining over at 2k boards regarding Dime Magazine's preview as nothing yet Live releases Play Calling... and how it is executed which 2k8 already did before.

Doesnt matter to me one way or another. At least we're getting actual information on things we wanted EA to improve on. We can talk about what EA is doing because they're making it known that they're listening to us now.

Regardless if 2k had this or not, it looks as if its improved upon from what 2k had not to mention one of their old devs too.

We've seen nothing on what 2k9 offers. I want a solid bball game or games, so i dont care who mixes what up and how they do it, just do it right.

2k could use some things Live does well too, even as basic as court spacing but hey its not like it matters to people who care about one or the other instead of the games themselves.

Very well said and I re-read it. I was mistaken. It actually is (the play calling) updated daily too. That's crazy...

Kudos to EA for the steps they took towards improvement of Live.
