That kick return looked familiar. I wonder where I've seen it before?
One thing I noticed: The commentators never refer to any of the players by name. They just say "he catches it..." or "he drops back".

3 observations:
1. The announcing is God AWFUL.
2. Absolutely ZERO atmosphere. Arizona took the lead with less than 2 minutes to go and you could have heard a pin drop in that stadium. No immersion factor.
3. The worst of all. Atlanta, down 4, last play of the game, hail Mary? Hell no! 10 yard cross. Pis* poor CPU play calling AI = Game killer

The crowd noise in NCAA is really variable depending on your system. I assume it's the same for Madden.
On my 40 inch wide screen, it sound horrid. Same high pitch all the time, no variance, even when I pump the crowd, it never changes. When I put it on my little 27 inch SD, it sounds exceptional.
Really depends on the sound system, I guess.

There is definitely changes in crowd noise. I think there is atmosphere.
late game ai in madden/ncaa has always been a problem.
Hammond is awful.
It doesn't sound natural during the plays. Its like 'Catches the ball?' , 'first down for the offense?', doesn't have a natural flowing tone.
He sounds much better when he reading a longer script.

I guess none of the sites will be releasing any extended gameplay video this year; only getting Madden Moments and EA hype videos. Commentary-wise Hammonds is as bad as Collinsworth is good.
