With Madden demo released the same day (interesting choice EA), we might not get a lot of impressions right away. I'll try to download and play this when I get home tonight and give some impressions tomorrow.
the fact that i can pummel kim Kardashian makes this game the game of the year so far. i hate that hcick with a passion and this game allows me to just BREAK HER FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant game. 10

Who are the playable characters in the demo and who can you fight?
I believe EA knew Facebreaker was so bad that they choose to release it with Madden because of the average girl stabding next to the ugly one effect. Madden seemed like a step up after playing Facebreaker.
it's cool that you get to use the vision camera to make a boxer. I haven't played yet because this takes some time, but the only other game that's let me use this feature has been RB6V.
why don't the nba games do this or fight night?

just played it was fun the first game but it got boring after the second try. If I lost interest in the demo I doubt ill keep interest in the game.

I gave it a play through today as well and I'm a little disappointed in it as well. I don't like judging games by their demos, but I can promise you the demo has not convinced me to definitely buy this game which is really the only thing a demo's purpose would be. I'm skeptical of the games' final quality right now, but I'm not going to pass judgment just yet...demo is average at best though.

Played about 6 or 7 rounds. Really fun gameplay. Fast, simple, but fun. Also, made my own guy using photos I uploaded at EAsportsworld. Actually came out looking pretty damn close.
All in all looks like a cool game if you have a lot of friends over (or maybe in the dorms).

Played for a bit, I got my butt handed to me, I had no idea how to play.

One thing for sure as far as the gameplay goes, I will be able to make my decision based on the DEMO.

I'm only talking about r2r for dreamcast the one I owned. That was a fun game. This game is not in the least.

Not interested at all. Bring on Fight Night 4 or a new prizefighter.

Nobody wants to play some bumass arcade boxing game. The only one that was any good was Mike Tyson's Punchout. Bring on Fight Night and quit playing EA.

I played it last night. I wasn't overly impressed but I will try it again later. The upload a photo feature might be kinda cool.

of the two games, are you saying you like facebreaker more than r2r? I see you all the time posting regarding real boxing, I just would have thought someone who likes boxing would like r2r at least more than this game.
In r2r you could jap, cross uppercut and hook w/ both hands as you choose, you could also bob and weave and block at will. you could do all this to the body as well. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=-kk6M2BATvc
that game actually sold me the system (dreamcast) when I was playing it in an EBgames before the system launched imo it was amazing for its time. The characters are also way more thoughtful and colourful. the training and career was alright too.
To each his own though, I just don't see how anyone could really enjoy facebreaker and want to buy it.

This game would have been awesome 10-15 years ago, when 2D fighting games were the rage. I played 3 fights and deleted the demo immediately afterwards. Nothing that hasn't been done to death...
