Madden 09 News Post

EA Sports has just simmed the 2008 NFL season with Brett Favre on various teams in Madden NFL 09. Check out the results.

Quote:
"With all the speculation currently surrounding Madden NFL 09 cover athlete Brett Favre and his pending return from retirement, EA SPORTS used Madden NFL 09 to predict how the future Hall of Famer would perform on a select group of NFL teams. Comparing the results between teams with and without Favre, the Minnesota Vikings stand to gain the most with Favre as the starter, while the New York Jets will miss the playoffs without him."

The Vikings 5-11 without Brett.

Given the accuracy of simming football with EA, I'm thinking you might get more predictive results using a pachinko machine.

Interesting, plus a little odd seeing Favre in another uniform. On a side note, I thought the player model of Favre in the Bucs uniform looked mighty impressive.

Chad Pennington with a 108 qb rating ???Aaron Rodgers with over 95???

Looks like the sim engine still needs some work.
