NBA 2K9 Features List *Updated

2K Sports contacted us about the NBA 2K9 Features List and gave us an update. Just a few slight changes. Check it out and let us know your thoughts. We were promised a lot more information in the coming weeks, keep an eye out for it.

I'm not even impressed..Only thing I like is the shot stick improvements. They should just take the button out because its too easy to make shots with it since its always a perfect release..Ill just buy it when it comes out like I do every sports game..

If anybody wanna roll with the 76ers tho lemme know you can come Run With Us lol

it should be 10 vs 10 that way you can have people on the bench watching the game from the bench in first person and can yell stuff out that the players will hear on court

2K Sports called me and asked that I update the features list, more to come in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for it.

maybe i'm wrong but it didn't sound like they were syncing up NBA 2K9 with NBA.com.... it sounds like instead on sim-central or whatever the hell it's called in franchise mode.... it will be replaced with a your franchise's version of NBA.com for your current season. am i wrong? someone please confirm.

2K9 will be the best b-ball game ever. The 2K share will be great since 2K puts out half-hearted roster updates. About time a video game updated championship celebrations because previous ones were quite pitiful.

i'm very impressed. this is probably only half of 2k's feature list.

I like what im seeing from 2k so far...really hope that they have a superstar type mode where u create a player and get drafted. The DNA thing im looking forward to knowing more about along with all the features...and really, how can anyone say for sure 2k stole this from EA or Ea stole this from 2k. It can easily be said that 2k had it first and then Mike? took it to EA when he left 2k...as it can also be spun that EA had it first and Mike talked to someone at 2k, let it slip out and 2k took it. What should matter to those of you who buy both is who is doing it better...as for those like me it only matters that 2K is doing it right as I dont get into EA sports games

The DNA in live09 is tendency 2k had tendencies back since 2k6.

Looks like there will be 2 great b ball games this year. I like what im hearing so far. When i was reading the features i had to double check that i was not reading nba live lol

I just read through this whole thread, and so far no info on whether you will still have to press start before the game loads the menu.

Thats exactly what it is...Why would they include NBA.com in franchise? Guarantee they use the NBA.com interface to cycle through our franchise mode. Imagine looking at players hotspots in the game the same way you would if you were on the website. Be pretty damn awesome.
