Yeah, I feel you on that point. I wish they'd drop more information on us, too. I really want to know if the (one-sided) momentum system and ridiculous CPU backdoor passes/scores have been addressed, my two biggest pet peeves in 2K8.

I could care less about big announcements, leave that for another time, but the basics should be covered now.

Apparently, they haven't added all of the new kicks. I notice that Kobe, T-Mac and A.I. are rocking generic shoes thus far. I hope they give Allen his signature shoes, again, unlike last year when they stuck him with some general Reebok shoes.

Loving what I see. its a close battle with the textures of live, the lighting, and the graphics between the two.

btw, lakers away jersey is right once again. 2k2 to 2k6 was right, then a two year diversion. but maybe a finals berth got them that exposure for them to recognize that error. say what yall want, this is the HDTV era. colors and textures need to pop to take that immersion level to another HIGHER level.

Shoes definitely weren't done back when these pictures were taken. They already look worlds better in the current code.

Speaking of jerseys.

I hope they got the Wizard's jersey right this year, in 2k8 they wore the navy blue road jerseys from previous seasons.

However last year IRL, the Wizards modified both home and away jerseys by adding gold trim. (I'll try to find some pics)

Now their primary road jerseys are now a lighter shade of blue with gold trim, instead of navy blue with black trim.

Also, I noticed they finally darkened the black seams of the basketball this year. It always looked like the ball had no seams because they were not black like a real basketball should.

You can tell the Kobe pic isn't close to final. The players eyes are missing or unfinished.

I, as well as others, have already addressed these issues in countless threads. Hopefully, the graphics department took our criticisms to heart and improved those issues you mentioned. It's pretty late to mention them now, but maybe we'll see improvement in all those areas.
