NHL 2K9 First Look (Gamespot)

Gamespot has posted their first look preview of NHL 2K9.

	"Speaking with the Jeff Thomas, the executive producer of the game, it was clear that 2K wasn�t pleased with the complexity of controls in last year�s game. As a result, NHL 2K9 will feature an all-new control scheme built from the ground up. From single-button passing and shooting to the trigger used for turbo, the controls are designed to be as intuitive as possible�at least on the default setting."

I'm a 2k fan, but I'm guessing that rebuilding the game is probably going to take two full years.

E3 is pathetic now. I posted an article from ign about why it sucks now. it's 1/10th the size as 2006, and many companies openly state how it's not worth going anymore because it doesn't benefit publishers, developers, or consumers...so what's the point. I think 2k doesn't go to e3 '09 because it's become meaningless.
