Pasta Padre has posted a interesting article called Brett Favre about to Resurrect Madden Curse Discussion.

I can't believe people still believe in curses and magic. Seems humans have to make up some crazy explanation to explain ironic and strange events instead of just realizing life is unpredictable and has it's ups and downs.

I don't think curses are all that believable, but it is weird that the Madden cover guys consistently get injured.

It's football, people get hurt! I remember a year when it seemed 85 percent of the packers team were on the injury report sometime throughout the year. All year long players play through injuries, people just grasp at straws when it happens to be one that is on the cover of madden

It's not always injuries either, sometimes they have a bad year. Many players are on the cover after an exceptional year. Many times they aren't going match that. That's not very hard to realize.

The Madden curse is real. Everytime a Madden game is released I've lost either 53 or 63 dollars. Never fails.
