Thanks, but the mock looks pretty flawed in my opinion. I don't see Kevin love jumping that high, jarryd bayless will be drafted before him.
And Eric Gordan falling that much i don't think so.

but who knows

I like what I see for the most part, but believe the Rockets will take a PG over a big man this early in the draft -

No way the Pistons take another G, look for a big man.

Got to have a few odd picks just to make it interesting.

Don't be surprised if NY makes a deal to swap with Seattle to get Bayless. He's already worked with Steve Nash and has learned some of the offensive system that D'Antoni used in Phoenix. The problem is who would Seattle be willing to take in a swap of picks. They aren't just going to swap picks. A player would have to be involved.

I really don't believe Eric Gordon will fall that far and don't be surprised if Love jumps that high.

Darrell Arthur dropping to #24 is a slap in the face. No way he drops past #16.

And this is more of a preference thing, but I'd switch Bayless and Mayo. Bayless+Durant+Green=Awesome

Not 2b rude but, your draft is totally jacked up! You lost me at pick #1. The Bulls may want Rose but, they NEED Beasley. (Chicago will forgive the Paxon when they're winning)

Rose & Wade will be next Dynamic Duo in South Beach.

Bayless will be headed to Oklahoma City with Durant as well.

(In My Opinion.)

We don't NEED Beasley D. Rose will be better for the team ... I do believe Mike Beas will come in the League puttin up 18 points & 8 boards as a rook while D.Rose will only put up around 14 & 7(assist) but D. Rose will make Deng, Tryus, Joak & the rest of the team (Not Captin Kirk) Much better. Given that all those Guys stunk it up last season won't be to hard ... but they will play better with Rose.

Chicagoan

They tried Okafor at power forward this year with Mohummad at center. Didnt work. Okafor doesn't have the shooting touch, and struggled defensively.

# 11 Bad_Intentions @ 06/04/08 11:14 AM
Just like Lynsanity said...

Why does everyone think Okafor is a PF? He's much better at Center, he does not have the quickness to keep up with the athletic PF's in the league and those are the guys that destroy us night in and out. Not to mention he has no game outside of 5 feet. We need a natural PF, if we take Deandre Jordan over Anthony Randolph i'm gonna puke in my cornflakes.

I guess no one ever sees us play and just assumes Okafor is a PF, understandable though b/c I think we've only been on nationally twice lol.

I will admit, I didn't see the Bobcats play once this year. That's a first for me. I usually get to see everybody once. With that said, who knows what the Bobcats are going to do. I love MJ but he did draft Kwame Brown.

As for Rose going to Chicago...Rose has the potential to do the same things that Deron Williams and Chris Paul are doing now. Beasley will be a good pro but Rose will make that entire roster better because he can simply elevate the games of those around him. Memphis doesn't make the NCAA Championship without Rose.

If you all keep your ears open to the grapevine and if you had some of the same contacts and friends I have in basketball then you'd know that some of the things I've predicted aren't that far-fetched.

Bayless is TRYING to politic his way to NY because he already had a relationship with D'Antoni and Steve Nash. Mayo has Miami all tied in knots. Beasley would help Miami but Riles is falling in love with Mayo.

koolman - With the spot that the Pistons are drafting in, do you really expect a quality big man to be there? I don't. If they deal Wallace or get rid of McDyess then I see that as Dumars trying to move up in the draft to get a young frontcourt player.

PaperLantern - Yes, Arthur dropping that low is a bit crazy (as is Gordon dropping) but every year there are guys rated really high and then don't work out as well as others and then they slip in the draft. Not that Arthur will have a poor showing at workouts but other guys are simply climbing up the draft board.

I don't hold it against you, very few people have seen us play lol.

I agree about your point with Rose. He will make others better instantly. And if the Bulls take Beasley what do they do with Thomas? I say they take Rose, try to package Hinrich for another player.

I have League Pass, but the Bobcats have just about the worst feed around (outside of Kings and Bucks), so I don't watch them too often even though I get like every one of their games.

# 15 kingofdasouf14 @ 06/05/08 11:30 PM
great article!!! The only problem is that the Hawks traded their pick so we won't have another chance to draft another SF/PF

With Rose going to Chicago where do you think Hinrich will end up?

# 16 KaptnKirk12 @ 06/05/08 11:42 PM
No way Gordon falls that falls that fall or Arthur.

Arthur was the top performer on the most balanced team in the nation, oh yeah they won the National Championship too. I think he must be pretty good. He is a lotto LOCK. (I believe he said if he wasn't going to be a for sure lotto pick, there was a solid chance he'd return to school too.)

I agree. Time Warner Cable just bought naming rights to the areana about a month before the season ended so instead of all the games being broadcast on our local cable news station and their crappy equipment, they started being telecast on Fox Sports South, so the feed should be much better next year.

If the pistons dont get a quality big before the draft, they will move up and get one at the draft for sure.

# 19 jhartman01 @ 06/08/08 04:46 PM
KaptnKirk12 - I know it's highly unlikely that Gordon or Arthur fall that far. Although, there are some rumblings that Gordon still isn't shooting the ball very well in workouts and that he may not be as athletic as first thought.

I think Detroit is going to retool their roster which means I think there will be a trade involving a player or players and a pick to move up and snag a better player in the draft.

As for Hinrich, I think the market will be high for him because there are teams looking for a point guard and he's a pretty decent one. No chance of him going somewhere to be a back-up though.
