wooo, Varsity gameplay!

"more mascots in the game, more scenes with cheerleaders, which, cheerleaders, you know, are never bad" lol

My impressions after the video...the user sucked (lol), the OL/DL interaction looked pretty good.

Well another video that does almost prove in fact, that the CPU does snap the ball right away.... Bummer.

Everything (well most everything) else I'm liking so far.

Apparently one of the lead developers is an Auburn grad. Because he mentions "We have to use Auburn so Brad won't get mad in all of our demonstrations."

Whoever he is, he needs to use his Auburn mojo and get us some better team ratings each year.

Oh..and I dug the video. I just want to PLAY now!

I have a theory.....

So they have all the new D movements before the snap etc..

What if by implementing that they made a new problem where the pre snap D movements actually screwed of the "DICE" throw calculations of thier Offenseive AI. Of whatever they use to calculate how the O will react etc..
So the quick fix? Have the CPU AI on offense snapp right away to negate that problem.

I'm probably totally off on this but it just stands out so much that EA has to see the quick snap by the AI. and chose to leave it that way or they meant it to be that way in the first place because it was neccessary.

Maybe it's just a fluke and the game isn't like that at all in the final version.

the CPU quick snapped in '08 too. except when winning within 2-3 minutes of the end of game.

I'm still playing to this day and there isn't a problem with the AI Offense quick snapping at all in 08. You have time to adjust your D etc....
So far in 09 the CPU snaps right as soon as the qb gets set. This wasn't the case in 08....

Maybe I'm on crack though...

EDIT: No I'm not. Can't be...

How are we going to make pre snap adjustments on D though?

If this in deed in the retail version then basically we aren't unless the CPU audibles and or sends a man in motion. Again if this is the case that takes away us seeing our guys do all the pre-snap movements on D....Hopefully it's a non issue in retail.

I'm still playing as well(360). normally the AI will get to the line and snap the ball before the clock gets to 15(about 1-2 seconds after getting to the line). unless they audible, motion, or winning late in the game(1-3 minutes to go). i did have 1 game in about 500 that i can remember the CPU taking the clock down low around 5-6 seconds nearly ever play, and that game ended 10-7 with 8 minute quarters.

You may be right but you do have some time to see the formation and make an adjustments. They also sometimes fake snap. In 09 so far (Except when audibling or motion) as soon as the QB gets set it snaps.. and I mean right then. No time at all...

Totally disagree there....by a lot.

NCAA for me has enough improvement, not to mention online dynasty, to make this a must buy day one.
I just hope they can fix the quick snap before Gold.
