"The release of EA Sports' latest installment of NCAA Football will be on shelves in roughly two months. Reports have already surfaced about the Top 25 teams in NCAA '09 and the beta team ratings have even been posted on OS. So today I will give my own personal take on who the Top 25 teams should be and how their top players should stack up once the ratings are officially completed."

He ranked the teams as he saw fit as well, sorry if that's not entirely clear in the title.

I think Chris Wells will be a beast for OSU on the game as well.

Not a bad Top 25 for NCAA when you look how close Jeremy got on a lot of predictions.

That SC defense is going to be sick.

As I was looking over the beta screen shots I was pleasantly surprised at how close the predictions were. Tim Tebow is indeed the highest rated QB and Laurinitis is the highest rated defensive player. Of course, those two weren't hard to predict...

After seeing the EA ratings this year, I'm gonna go ahead and put money on

1. Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and USC being #1-4 in total defense, scoring defense, passing defense, rushing defense, home defense, nuclear defense, etc.

2. Florida State will destroy everyone in their path in the ACC, rolling up 500 yards of offense a game and giving up 89 yards a game.

3. Florida will go from the 39th best defense in the nation to the 5th best defense in the nation.

4. Oklahoma will shrug off losing their best WR and starting tailback and set Big 12 records for total offense, averaging 752 yards a game.

5. Georgia will breeze through the SEC, winning their conference games by an average score of 52-12. Ohio State will trounce all in their path, winning their games by an average score of 50-13.

6. Kansas will lose 5 games.

7. Auburn will finish 4th in the SEC West, and go 6-6.

I'm headed to the bank right now to pull out my life savings and head to Vegas to place my bets.

get them badgers back in the top ten

I have a feeling that the bulldogs won't do as good as they have been touted

I think Florida State will be easily a Top 15 team on there

Man please! Chris Ogbonnaya rated 93, is supposingly the best player on the Longhorns team!! what?! thats krazy yo. Brian Orakpo has a 90 ovr.lol and he the best player on the team 4real yo. and they better not leave FSU with those ratings, cause if so, they will have to be fair to those Miami fans, who saw their team beat up on the Seminoles last year. get it 2gether EA.i know this is the beta version, but still. they won't change to much about it, watch and see. im a loyal NCAAfan along with others. all we want is justice and correct stats. Thats all...

I agree with you on most everything, but DeMarco Murray runs nasty......Im not even a OU fan(Go EERs/Herd!)....But I love watching hard running rbs, and Murray is up there.

OU still might flounder but it won't be because of him

One of the few in the nation who runs with authority like Fred Taylor/Mcgehee of NFL......Moreno is also a "nasty" runner as well
