PSU has posted their hands-on preview of NCAA Football 09.

"Most of the other, smaller issues were due to the code not being complete, thus leading me to believe that they would be corrected by the time the game was completely finished. We still felt the need to mention them to the producers in order for them not to be overlooked, just in case they were. I decided to get the negatives out of the way in order to provide you guys all of the highlights of the game to end in a high note – believe me, there are a lot of high notes to this installment."

Great find!! Reading this has gotten me pretty excited for this year's installment, especially if the part about the qb pocket and touch passes are realistically implemented.

Sounds promising. I think if they fix the abundance of turnovers and ultra high completeion %, this game mayu turn out to be very good.

The pocket formation is prety promising. I hope to see that the completion percentages and especially that the INT rates are lower, especially for the cpu.

one thing i'm still really curious about is the post game show, as it stated it's a new feature when the feature list came out. i wonder how in depth it is.

This is very hard to believe given the videos that are out. I didn't see any pockets forming. OTs are dropping 2 steps back & DEs are getting sucked right into them. Unless they're playing a newer build and OTs are taking deeper drops and DEs are actually rushing up the filed, his idea of a pocket is not the same as mine.

I think one guy said the pocket was improved but still not great. Its hard to tell from the videos since the guys playing QB are scrambling fools. I don't see a huge change from the videos myself but any improvement would be welcome.

I like what I've been reading. I'm still sayin' the way to go, though, is to expect nothing.
