News Post

First I would like to say congrats to Ashley Force for being the first woman to win a NHRA funny car race.

Second, do you guys remember when I posted that Aloha Airlines passenger service shut down about a month ago. Well, I just heard on the local news that it's cargo division is shutting down. Pretty sad, since there lender stopped funding the cargo division. What this means is that there is basically no air cargo between the islands since Aloha handles about 85% of the air cargo and 300 more employees are without a job. UGH!

Third, my QOTN: Since gas prices are going through the roof, are you guys driving your cars less?

Nah, I edited the post. Got too trigger happy when I posted it the first time though.

QOTN: No choice but to drive as much as I always have.

I've noticed that my Blockbuster has been stocking more games over the past couple months, I hope that trend continues.

QOTN: No choice but to continue driving the same. I wish I lived near someone that I worked with so I could carpool.

QOTN: I can't drive so it's all a moot point to me

QOTN: Yes and no.

I drive my car just as much around the city, as I don't have much of a choice. But I haven't visited a friend that lives 100 miles away so far this year. Last year I made it down to visit at least once a month, sometimes twice a month.

QOTN: Don't have a car yet so nope. Kinda glad I don't have a car right now but I really hope gas goes down soon.

I drive to work (8.1 miles) four times a week. Other than that I try and limit my driving. I filled up my truck yesterday...$79!

Gas prices probably won't affect how much I drive. I usually try not to take unnecessary drives. It is reinforcing my desire to buy a hybrid next year.
