NIU had an average first season going 7-5 (6-2). Started off slow losing to 3 Big Ten teams but improved in conference play to go 6-2. NIU was one win away from winning the MAC West had they beaten WMU at home in the season finale. NIU awaits to find out their bowl destination.
Scheduling Notes:
2016 Home game vs Purdue has been moved to TBA due to Purdue being relegated to the MAC
NIU has agreed to a home and home with FIU. @FIU 2016 vs FIU 2017
