I do this quite often with the action/shooting games. Unless it is just something I have to have on release. (eg: GTA games and so forth) I will usually buy the new sports games on or close to release and then waiting for the eventual and usually fairly quick price drops for the other games to around $20 or less.

So on average I might buy 2 games at full price(usually The Show,& NBA) and 2 at about 20-25$ off and used at Gamestop NCAA/Madden) then any other games I buy are usually less than $20.
