New York- The New York Knicks played like it was the first game of the playoff against the Heat, they came out strong shooting the ball very well in a stunning 95-94 win over the rival Heat, Carmelo Anthony was on point leading all scorer with 36 points in his way of claiming the player of the game honors.
Amr'e Stoudamire contributed with 21 points and Patrick Ewing netted 18. Iman Shumpert also got 10. from the bench James White got 6 points.

Dwayne Wade had a off night scoring only 13 points on a 5-10 shooting, Heat Coach Spoelstra said after the game that we need to incorporate DWade a bit more into our Offense.

The Heat took care of the Celtics on game one of the 2012 Season 102-74 in Miami. the Celtics look sluggish and shot horrible from the field, Larry Bird was really off tonight going 3-17 from the field to score just 11 points in the night.
The Celtics were led by Paul Pierce with 15 Points, and Jason Terry did not score any points in his Celtics debut playing 20 minutes.
The Heat were Lead by James with 28 and 14 from Mario Chalmers, Wade and Alonzo Morning contributed with 12 each.
