Angels Hand Oakland First Loss of Season

The Oakland Athletics' perfect season was spoiled by their So Cal Rivals as the Angels were victorious by a score of 8-3. Jered Weaver was able to go 8 innings, giving up 11 hits and striking out 9. Sean Gallagher wasn't so lucky. He went 5 innings, getting roughed up for 7 runs on 8 hits while fanning 6. Home runs were plenty as Holliday and Giambi went deep for Oakland and Morales and Rivera each homered for Anaheim.
Anaheim's potent offense proved too much for the young Gallagher as Weaver and the Angels notch their first victory of the season.
