Game Notes
Indiana's reward for emerging victorious against the Chicago Bulls in the first round is a date with the juggernaut Miami Heat, who easily moved on by beating the Milwaukee Bucks in five games. While shutting down LeBron James and company will be tough, the mismatches Paul George and Danny Granger pose for Miami's smaller lineup could drag this series to seven games and see the Pacers emerge victorious. George and Granger are going to have to continue their strong play through this series for Indiana to compete, but Indiana will really need more from David West and Roy Hibbert after seven decidedly average games in the first round. Miami got Ray Allen for just one game against the Bucks, so they're going to be better off with his scoring ability back in the starting fold, but Miami's offense will continue to run through James and Dwyane Wade in the playoffs. Don't be surprised though if a game in this series is decided by a big night from Allen or Chris Bosh, presumably part of a Heat series win in six or seven games.
