CHICAGO-The Chicago Bulls rode a huge first quarter advantage to pivotal 97-89 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 6, sending the series back to Indiana for a Game 7 between the Central Division co-champions.

Chicago outscored the Pacers 29-12 in the first quarter of Game 6, giving them all the lead they would need to win the game. Chicago opened a 16-point with 7:30 left in the fourth quarter before the Pacers started to make a comeback, but Indiana could get no closer than the final margin.

Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 18 points and seven assists. Three other starters�Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng, and Kirk Hinrich�had 10 points apiece for the Bulls. Boozer also collected five rebounds. Joakim Noah also had eight points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls.

Danny Granger led the Pacers with 27 points and five rebounds. Three other starters finished in double figures for the Pacers. David West scored 16 points and collected six rebounds, Paul George scored 12 points and tallied five rebounds, and Roy Hibbert scored 10 points and collected six rebounds.

Chicago had two players score in double figures off the bench. Nate Robinson finished with 11 points and Jimmy Butler 10 points.
