PHILADELPHIA– Despite opening a 20-point lead at halftime, Philadelphia needed overtime to overcome the Nets after an abysmal fourth quarter, winning 113-109 after a furious comeback by the Nets.

Jrue Holiday and Nick Young helped Philadelphia build a 60-40 lead at halftime, only to see it evaporate during a fourth quarter where Philadelphia shot just 32 percent and was outscored 28-14.

Brooklyn's comeback would be short-lived in the overtime period though as Holiday, who was held scoreless during the entire second half, scored eight of the 76ers' 16 points in the period. Holiday scored the first six points in overtime, building a lead Philadelphia would not relinquish.

Holiday finished with 22 points and 10 assists, his first career postseason double-double. Young scored 13 points for Philadelphia, going a perfect 3-of-3 from the three-point arc.

All five of Brooklyn's starters scored in double figures. They were led by Joe Johnson, who scored a game-high 26 points and tallied five rebounds, five assists, and three blocks.

In addition to Johnson, three starters also tallied double-doubles; Deron Williams scored 19 points and had 13 assists, Kris Humphries had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Andray Blatche had 18 points and 11 rebounds starting in injured center Brook Lopez's absence. Gerald Wallace also scored 18 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds.

Behind Holiday, Philadelphia had three other starters in score in double figures: Thaddeus Young tallied 14 points and five rebounds, Jason Richardson 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists, and Evan Turner 11 points and six rebounds. In addition, Antonio Daniels scored 13 points and dished out five assists in his first playoff action since 2009.
