Game Notes
A matchup of two Atlantic Division teams, Philadelphia and Brooklyn were essentially polar opposites this season. While Philadelphia flourished with the addition of Andrew Bynum, Brooklyn struggled with a new-look lineup in their new-look digs, culminating in a sixth straight losing season. Brooklyn still made the postseason, mostly thanks to several underachieving Eastern Conference teams, but their struggles were compounded by the loss of Brook Lopez, who looks likely to miss the first three games of the series with a bruised foot. Brooklyn will look to their usual suspects to score in Joe Johnson and Deron Williams, but they're going to need Kris Humphries and Andray Blatche to counter Bynum in the early part of this series. If they can't get it done, Philadelphia will ride Bynum and Jrue Holiday to a 3-0 series start and a quick first round win.
