Madden 12 Player Roles: what could benefit Madden 13 commentary

with the come back of player roles, i see a ton of possibilities for commentary to bring full immersion back into Madden! I can't recall where exactly but there has been a couple of hints of Madden 13 being all about commentary presentation.

"There are more than 20 different roles that players can earn in Franchise mode, including �QB of the Future�, �Mentor� and �Fumble Prone�. " - from the EA blog http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5937759.page

Imagine with me commentary where the 'conversation' turns about the 'QB of the future' and where we was drafted and if the current QB or backup QB is a mentor how that could effect commentary. Creating history and intrigue beyond one season through commentary would be awesome!

Example:

* QB of the future talk

what year and what day and number was he drafted
was he acquired through trade?
what college he was from
talk of 'hype' or 'potential'

going into a game which the previous game you find the HB back has been 'fumble prone' and has fumbled statistically '5 times in the past 8 games. this could be a commentary mention in the pregame show highlight of that player. now a player to watch. will he overcome his inability to hold on to the ball?

with the new confidence and consistency attributes I can envision where the commentary could elude to the 'growth' of a player or 'lack of growth' where things may be. There already has been commentary about certain QB's but 'statict' so to say.

Fluid commentary based on

the attributes (inconsistent, scrambler, and tends to get injured a lot)
previous seasons in league
Where the team ended last season in the standings
did they make the play offs, Superbowl, pro bowl, awards

OVR per position being effected by an injury of a 90 OVR with backups in the 75 could be a commentary pregame talk about will they be able to fill this position enough to . . etc etc.

I did hear in the current Madden 12 commentary the first showing of the QB onto the field:

what college he was from
how many years he has been i the league
how many times he was a super bowl champion (Ben of the Steelers)

is this fluid currently, meaning based off the history of the game or is this 'static' meaning it was just read in specifically for Big Ben I am not sure yet due to not having the game in my hands yet

Dreaming a bit now. . .

I feel EA hasn't really figured out quality 'purchase' extra features for Madden yet. What I think would be great and worth it for extra bling would be

* Download Custom Commentary

Madden color commentary for special playoff or superbowl
Fox Sports
NFL Network
Radio Broadcast play by play (as if listening on the radio)

Ok, maybe a bit far, but thinking outside the box is what makes the possibility there!

What do you think? What would make the commentary more for you? Franchise mode immersion commentary?
