The Reds came home from a 6 game west coast swing and continued their winning ways taking the first game of a 3 game set at home on Friday night. A 3 run 4th inning was enough for the Reds as they took a 3-0 lead following a 2 run Jonathan India homer to left. Chicago score 2 in the sixth to cut the Reds lead to 1. Jake Fraley ended the scoring with a sac fly in the bottom of the inning giving the Reds a 4-2 lead. Alexis Diaz shut the door in the 9th for the save. The two clubs will continue the series Saturday night.

Reds win series after Game 2 Victory
The Cincinnati Reds ran their win streak to a modest 3 games after a 2-1 win Saturday night in Cincinnati. Luke Weaver threw 6 innings of 1 run baseball for the victors and Alexis Diaz saved his 10th game of the season. The Reds look to sweep the Sox on Sunday afternoon.

Get the Brooms Out
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon the Redlegs got the brooms out against the visiting White Sox, as the Reds took game 3 4-1. Brandon Williamson picks up his first win of his young career following 7 innings of 4 hit baseball. The offense provided 10 hits including 2 homeruns from Spencer Steer and Elly De La Cruz. After sweeping the Sox the Reds are now 8-2 in their last 10 including 4 straight wins. The final 3 games of the 6 game homestand will be against the Mets starting on Tuesday.
