marketing hype doesn't work on me; I can wait until September 11. There's no early purchase incentive for MyLeague.Getting impatient though
All the gameplay footage looks great... and I have the AI playing fantastic highly realistic basketball. I'll probably play a quarter or so with all settings "from the factory" initially. I was watching ShadyMike last night: He says he may have spotted one or two sliders that are reversed. Gameplay looks a little video game pokey: My sliders up animation speed, but I'll play factory before changing anything.I have always loved the depth of 2K's player animations: Right before typing here, my player took the baseline off the rightwing fastbreak. I knew he's a dunker; Minnesota knew too
They met him at the rim as he attempted a vicious two-hander. They managed to get a finger on the ball. The vicious dunk turned into a vicious two-handed layup It was so organic, I can't remember the last time I saw that particular play. Beautiful!So far YouTube footage seems to portray a reduction in the dreaded cutscenes; I hope this is true.
