Billards video game too far fetch?

during my time in college or w/e I am growing a love for billards...however, would it transfer well into a ea sports or 2k sports title? maybe a 30 year career? if they could have a game on horse racing there could definitly be a billards game.

I've never really seen the draw in a billiards game, but I know people love playing it on yahoo or different sites that have just simple games. To me it doesn't seem like they'd really be able to generate enough to warrant a full title $60 purchase.

If they don't have it already, I could definitely see a title on the Xbox dashboard or one of their downloadable mini games, just not a major release title.
