What Can We Learn From NFL2K5 And APF2K8:Part Five:APF2K8

This part will cover from personal experience and also the experience of customers during the post NFL 2k5 era.
Part 5 will cover the the question of How much expectation was given?.

What can we learn?

Over expectation?

[b] Coming during a time when the word Exclusive became the for front in the gaming world especially in the Football gaming world. Many gamers complained, some even ran to NFl 2k5 to await a day when exclusive would pass away. From 2005 to 2007 this very action took place leaving gamers to wait paying attention to a rumored New football game from 2k.

Time came and gone since then and some consumers were left incomplete with a game that it's features consisted of providing just enough for one season..however features such as franchise and more customization lacked.
The problem found to be short and brief was the simple fact that NFL 2k5 had(and Im not blaming this reason for this) became such a untouchable factor that even 2k themselves ironically who made NFL 2k5 had pretty much out did themselves. They caught themselves in what many people do if and when they reach the height of accomplishment and could not top it.

From what I feel, there was nothing we(as customers) did that lost our expectations of this game..If anything if they added more and tweaked here and there keeping NFL2k5 plus more would have been simply great. In my mind this game came at the right time, provided at the right time. However always will be known for falling short just catching a little bit more especially with the price of $60.00.

What Can We Learn?

-Sometimes your first best will always be better than your best(meaning if you reach a plateau higher than what you will ever reach sometimes it can out do even yourself.
-To whom much is given much is required which means even if your going to price something at $60.00? provide $60.00 worth.

What did we miss?

-Greatness happens once in a lifetime(72 dolphins 16-0 85 Bears,2000 ravens etc) Don't expect it every time to be like NFL 2k5 because if you do? you will be disappointed.

-While greatness happens once in a lifetime mediocrity happens every day( buccaneers 0-14, Lions 0-16) Meaning while NFL 2K5(by opinion) is something we probably never see again but that does not mean its not good it means to open your mind and accept something to come and add on to that

You've done an incredible job with this. EA should be ashamed of itself with how they've half-assed Madden in recent years, especially on the presentation side. Look at what 2K was able to do with inferior technology FOUR years ago. On top of that, they took away valuable features from previous editions of the game. Unreal.

This is not to Bash EA but to give insight to those who A. Missed playing these two. B. walk away seeing these games in a new light and C. teach a lesson in this 8 part series for developers and consumers alike. No more, No less
