What We Can Learn From NFL 2k5 and APF 2k8: Part One:NFL 2k5

As anticipated the article discussed in the madden finding its roots article. It has been 4 years since NFL 2k5 hit shelves and made a mark that defined football games for consoles to come. And it has been 2 years since All-Pro football 2k8 came to next gen consoles. These two games both earned a respectful position in the hearts of football gamers everywhere. While looking at these two games(not saying that these games are all perfect). But in these two games are things for companies and development teams(such as EA with madden) and us consumers could learn from NFL 2k5 and APF 2k8. First up is 2k5,

What we can learn: NFL 2k5

Uniforms

[size="4"]Uniforms for NFL 2k5 for the most part had uniforms correct( minus the ravens all black not in there or the falcons socks etc). minus the hang ups here and there errors 2k5 all together had a wide WIDE selection of uniforms and some were very accurate but the most important part is WIDE SELECTION.
To conclude, The famous 1980's 49ers with the big red and white stripes to the famous dallas cowboys red white and blue stripes during the 1976 year. Attention to detail is the lesson to walk way with this discussion. Time effort and extensive detail and research was put into making uniform selection one of the best seen.

What was learned?

-Attention to details
-Sometimes more is good(especially in detail).
-Qualiity matters more than Quanity
-Do your research if more was done then it can be done now.
What was missed?

-sometimes you just can't get it all correct.

-theres not enough time in a day many were missing but the ones in the game? were the best or close to it.
