Remember the maddens of old which consisted of your 57 lions to the 2002 patriots? where did they go? and how did they fall off the face of gaming earth? remeber when Ncaa 04 had the concept of the way THROWBACK should have been? as this decade is creeping up to closing its interesting to notice how your 62 oilers don't even exist anymore. With the next gen move in 2005 many were expecting great things but many(including me) were disappointed when seeing the classic stadiums of old. Subsequently, classic teams just faded away to become memories in head of gamers.

Again now knowing what past maddens provided the question and concern now focuses towards the future. The question is What will the future madden titles bring to the table? Will madden return back to its roots. The image given on EA over these short years from fans and bloggers along with forum people alike has become rather negative.
But with Madden(hopefully) returning back to their roots becoming the prodigal son of video games will bringing back these things such as classic teams and stadiums change the tide? With many issues at hand(as described below) I feel a homecoming in the making. I believe in this era of Next gen we as as gamers as a whole have been disappointed with the lack of substance. And with a blog comming up soon "what we can learn from APF 2k8 and NFL 2k5".This can be continued into taking the next step.

These issues need to be attended to and paid attention to and return to a state of making a better product, stepping it up and bringing quality all around. Returning back to a status where consumers will forgive their prodigal gaming son, known as madden.
