NFL Playoff atmosphere
- This has been a constant problem I feel with playoffs. I will place this issue in three catagories with topic and a subtopic Ian.

1.Playoff Logos

- Playoff logos such as

(old logo before the New NFL shield came into play during the 2008-2009 season.)

which was used and is used during the wild card. and divisional rounds use the logo such as below the teams logo mid field. are missing. This is a problem

I noticed the missing logos such as the NFC and AFC championship round logos as well, examples are below.

used as well for the respective NFC team.

To conclude the first branch of this discussion Ian, I have for some time since the playing madden 2002 on ps2 was an issue for me. While i feel the nature of the playoffs in madden is lacking in the two more branches this one is to me one of the important because the question is raised how can you tell the difference between a field or the playoffs when the fields looks the same as it does during regular season. The clutch aka AI bringing their A game during the playoffs is a good add but logos were in NFL 2k series for years. i feel that this is one issue that EA now needs to adjust and add as well.

Overall feeling of logos not there?: Just feels incomplete and takes away the enthusiasm of going to the playoffs. needs to be added.

2. Appropriate playoff celebrations for end games.

While the camera flashing feature was nice and added towards something it was overdone. However, I feel that it still did not take away the fact that the presentation factor is still not there. for example, winning the wild card or divisional round is simply the same feeling. meaning the teams run off the field stay near a tunnel. and since there is no post game celebrations its rather bland.

example 1: coaches and staff meeting and greeting one another on the field with players. they have to interact and show emotion. Where right now they are like cyborgs when the game is over even though this is broad I can narrow this to this situation for this. these things need to be done to at least give mental completion of a win especially in the playoffs.( if you want examples pm me I will try to find them).

example 2: presentation of trophies and proper celebrations

This to me has been an issue since I don't know when. I remember that even in playing on last gen consoles that NFC,AFC and especially the superbowl celebrations feel rushed and sometimes forgotten.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME CELEBRATION(when the winner is at home)

example of winning as it should be(note this can be used for the playoff atmosphere and sideline as was mentioned earlier).

This is the presentation of the trophy (which is important to note and include as well)

AFC championship Game part II(when the away team wins)

sometimes is different as described the AFC team winning that is away will present the trophy inside the locker room( I could not find video with much fortune as I did with the home version but You get what I mean.(pm me if you need examples or have questions.)

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME(Away team winning the championship)

As the same description with away AFC team. First video is end celebrations as it should be in the game.

AWAY NFC CELEBRATION

Trophy presentation: away team (the same for AFC but could not find one as of now but good example of how it should be in the game).

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME(HOME TEAM CELEBRATION AND TROPHY PRESENTATION).

The same description as it was with the AFC home team.

HOME NFC CELEBRATION (The same as AFC CHAMPIONSHIP HOME) this should be implemented

TROPHY PRESENTATION:HOME NFC TEAM

This was always missing in madden games and I felt were not payed attention or not properly done during AFC and NFC championship games in madden. If they were done in this fashion..the Magnitude of the NFL playoff experience would be enchanced.

and to add from the upper branch..I believe while the camera was a good add it was over done WAY too much and needs to be toned down if used in future terms.

The Third and final Branch that needs to be added and is very important is the SUPER BOWL presentation and celebration. this as well will be broken into three sub topics.

the first is

SUPERBOWL PRESENTATION

This is again a MAJOR and I mean MAJOR issue that is with the playoff series and superbowls that were in previous maddens and this one(09) as well.

without things such as the elaborate openings that are done over and over again in real superbowls it just feels flat and with void. The solution to fix this is again with the playoff atmosphere and its magnified 10x when its the superbowl as shown in these videos that are great examples and should be followed.

and in the game

I say optional but this is what I missed when I played this years superbowl and this adds up especially if I as a gamer want something that stands out.

Such as the pre-game and introduction of teams

pre-game

in pregame just a mix up of players on the field and a 3 or 4 man booth on site or w/e explaining the game maybe not even that long but it has to be at least something..while outside of the stadium is good and all..keep that and add on to that with a pregame.

Superbowl intros for the players afc

superbowl intros NFC

was a step up from last years but it needs to be better for the superbowl. This year kept on using the one helmet along with a generic superbowl XLIII endzone with logos for helmets. I felt that also turned off of it because its a shame because you guys did well recreating the endzone logos for the superbowl XLII. it can be done.
