I would like to congratulate Devery Vaughn Henderson, Jr. on his ********* work during a play during a practice in Madden 10. He has done something that very few others have ever done. The toe drag. This was the first ever toe drag post-patch and second ever through the entire time that I've had the game. Thank you Devery Henderson. You are a star.
I would also like to thank Drew Brees. Without his pass, this very rare occurrence would have never occurred.

There is something that's been missing from Madden since last-gen, and that thing missing is tattoos. It's little things like this that make a game much more realistic, in my opinion. In basketball games, all of the players have their tattoos, in last-gen football games, some of the players had their tattoos. So I think it's time we get them back in Madden.

I bought NCAA Football 10 on the 21st of July and played it just about every day until I got Madden 10 on August 14th. Since I bought Madden, I've tried to play NCAA Football 10 twice. In my opinion, NCAA 10 has become unplayable. It pains me to say it but NCAA 10's gameplay is so far behind Madden's that I simply don't enjoy the game. If both games had the same gameplay and same presentation, there is no doubt I'd be playing NCAA more. I like college football more than professional, and this realization ... Read More

For a little background, I played NCAA 10 most days from July 21st until August 14 (when Madden 10 came out). I then didn't touch NCAA until yesterday. I was pretty much just playing it to see how DK's rosters were going. I then played a game with UNC, ran the ball up the middle, and it happened...
I realized that quick-juke may be the best gameplay (re-)addition of the year. It really makes a HUGE difference in Madden 10. It makes hitting the hole so much better and realistic. Instead ... Read More

So as we all know, Brett Favre has signed with the Vikings. Before the signing, I thought they would go around 10-6, plus or minus a win. But now, I feel like they should at least go 11-5. What do you guys think?

As spring came along I was very optimistic and excited for NCAA Football 2010. I was especially looking forward to playing with my Heels in their navy blue jerseys. But as information continued to come out I became more and more disappointed. As many of us know, NCAA 10's demo comes out on the 18th. For me, this demo may decide whether I buy this game or not. Three months ago I would have never thought that I'd be considering not buying NCAA 10.

I recently read that we'll be able to chose from all of the team's helmets, jerseys, and pants in NCAA Football 10 opposed to just Home, Away, Alternate, etc. This got me really excited as I was asking for this option back in February. Are we going to have the ability to do this in Madden 10? I'm assuming so since it's in NCAA (not trying to insult the NCAA team in any way). Presentation is definitely getting bumped up this year as you can see in the link above. Gameplay is also looking nice and smooth this year. It looks like the players have a full circle of movement instead of just eight directions. The only negative thing I'm getting out of this video is the fumble sequence. I've been checking OS religiously about Madden 10 info and NCAA 10 info and I'm a little confused. How is there such a difference in focus between the two teams? When hearing about what's going to be new in Madden you think pro-tak and good gameplay. NCAA on the other hand... you get the idea that they're going for more features and not doing a lot with fixing gameplay. The Season Showdown feature is really making little sense to me as well.
