NCAA 10 - Early Impressions

As spring came along I was very optimistic and excited for NCAA Football 2010. I was especially looking forward to playing with my Heels in their navy blue jerseys. But as information continued to come out I became more and more disappointed. As many of us know, NCAA 10's demo comes out on the 18th. For me, this demo may decide whether I buy this game or not. Three months ago I would have never thought that I'd be considering not buying NCAA 10.

As July 14th has approached, we've heard news about Team Builder, Season Showdown, wrong rosters, "dynasty accelerators" for use in online play that cost money (though we've since been told that there will be an option to disable this feature), along with much more. Recently we've seen videos provided by Steve that, for many, have been rather disheartening (at best).

How do you feel about NCAA Football 2010?

There are some things I like but Madden is getting a ton of stuff. And now the sliders are still broken in NCAA 10. That was the last straw for me. Unless they patch that they lost a sale.

It's kind of disheartening because I am normally just as pumped for ncaa football as i am for madden. but this year it seems more evident than ever that ncaa football is the little brother and put on the back burner. At best I would rent it to get the rosters so I can use them for madden. but as for this year i'll keep my 60 bucks for something else.
