What confuses me about EA Sports.

I've been checking OS religiously about Madden 10 info and NCAA 10 info and I'm a little confused. How is there such a difference in focus between the two teams? When hearing about what's going to be new in Madden you think pro-tak and good gameplay. NCAA on the other hand... you get the idea that they're going for more features and not doing a lot with fixing gameplay. The Season Showdown feature is really making little sense to me as well.
