Why?

No this isn't a reference to the computer crash that never came. Its a simple question to the developers, tech support and community lead (Ronnie) of 2k sports. From what I can tell, it appears that each and every one of us has the ability to play NBA2k, so long as we do not have a connection to the internet with our next gen systems at any time. Otherwise a patch will download, our saves will upload, and we will be trapped in a never ending cycle of load screens and error messages.

Why can't 2k differentiate from online and offline modes.

Why have your servers remained substandard throughout last gen and continue to remain as such now?

Why have you placed an importance on online connection to play through my career and myGM, supposedly offline modes?

Why are my offline game modes required to be saved on your substandard servers?

Why must i rely on your servers working to load a game?

Why haven't you figured out that some people do not have the time to sit for hours waiting for your technical support team to fix what has been broken for over 5 years?

Why hasn't 2k advised anyone of how long their issues will persist?

Why has a public apology not been offered?

Why are people so angry about driveclub's free game being pulled but no one is hanging from the rafters over a 60 dollar game being somewhat unplayable?

Why does it seem like their solution to the server issues is myLeague instead of fixing the real problem?

Why hasn't 2k answered users that spent money on upgrades that have completely disappeared?

Does anyone have any faith that this will be fixed before New Years?

Does anyone think that WWE 2k will be any different?

Does anyone think this will ever change with 2k? Every year we all say the same thing. "I'm not buying day one." They need to fix their servers before i buy" "I won't purchase unless things change" Well this year, I skipped it. I didn't buy. I specifically told my fiancee "Do Not buy 2k for me until we see how it works." Yes its pretty. Yes it plays a great game of B-Ball" Yes MyGM, the park, and MyCareer look awesome... When they work! And we're being told its fixed when the users have flat out said they have not.

To quote Aerosmith (when they were good) "it's the same old story, same old story, same old song and dance"

Every time I save a season (offline) and try to load it up it says the file is corrupted. So it's a constant reset. Can't save rosters (offline) either. Sucks.
