Hey Guys,
First of all I am not attempting to start a Flame war or any other sort of arguement here I am just posting my thoughts.
I bought my PS3 last year for the sole purpose of buying and playing MLB 09 the Show. I loved the game all year long. I then bought 10 along with other games and have enjoyed 10 very much.
In an effort to mix things up and for a change of pace I decided to buy MLB 2k10 for the PC, because it was cheaper.
Now I realize it hasn't been patched yet but really I haven't run into any glitches as of yet.
I must say the presentation is a breathe of fresh air. I am not speaking of graphics, which of course are better than 2k9, but rather the over all feel of the game. I am not a fan of the player models, but they suffice for their purpose.
My key concern and reason for going the 2k10 route was that i wanted a little faster game as opposed to the Show. I find the show is quite slow (which is realistic) but in order to have a hope of getting through 162+ games I can't devote up to 2 hours per game.
So far, and this is indeed early for me, I am enjoying this game very much. I only wish the pitcher didnt' seem like a hundred miles away when batting. (anyway to fix this at all?)
I also noticed that ont he first day of the season the commentators were referring to how the players played in the previous game, which was spring training... is this right? Is this something to be fixed by the patch? I am not sure. It is in no way a game breaker of course, just any observation.
Well these are my initial thoughts, I will post more as I get deeper into the game.
