College Football Rankings - Week 4

It was an interesting week in college football and the national polls had a fair amount of fluctuation. My poll, on the other hand, stayed pretty much in tact. I had a few teams that had a big jump or a significant drop off but the meat and potatoes of the rankings stayed in tact.

College Football Rankings - Week 2

I've often scratched my head from week-to-week when the various polls are released. A top tier team loses to a top tier team yet slips behind teams that they were previously believed able to beat.

I wonder what exactly it is that the "coaches" or the Associated Press use when determining how to rank teams. I've always believed it should be the best team 1st and then the next best, next best after that and so on all the way down the list. However, it seems more like polls these days ... Read More
