It is a sad day as we have learned that our beloved NCAA Football franchise has been cancelled for at least a year, and possibly forever.

I, for one, am not just going to sit on my hands and watch it happen. I have created a list of contacts to whom you can voice your displeasure with the NCAA, EA Sports or the legal system. I've also created a petition that you can sign to show your support for the franchise and to let the NCAA and EA Sports know you want the series to continue.

Don't just watch as our favorite game gets swept under the rug. Speak up! And let's save the NCAA Football franchise!

I like where your head is at, but how can you blame EA. You can blame Ed O'Bannon for this. Although the real culprit is the NCAA.

The problem is that even if they brought it out, it would be so mediocre because licensing wouldn't be close to what it is now. Authenticity is a big deal to EA, and it is to me too as a consumer. This is my favorite sports franchise and I hate to see it go, but I am willing to wait a few years for someone to try again if not EA. It will be better that way, bring in more hype after a few years of hiatus and a redo all over. Also, yes the NCAA is to blame for this fiasco.

speels, I don't blame EA. If anything, I blame them for caving in to this lawsuit. I wrote a letter that I'll post shortly. If after reading that anyone thinks this lawsuit has true merit, then they have some serious issues.

At the end, I blame the greedy players who thought they were doing something for the good of other players. I also blame the NCAA for not attacking this earlier. In the end, I'm not sure which way the supreme court will rule, but the court of public opinion can certainly have their say.
