NCAA Football 14 Gameplay Video - Minnesota vs Northwestern

I've seen some people criticizing the gameplay in NCAA Football 14 and pointing to glitchy animations or saying the tackling looks the same or the Infinity Engine is toned down. Personally, I haven't experienced any of these things.

Here is a video of a full game (shortened to just the plays plus a couple of studio updates) that I played in online dynasty mode. The game was played on All-American with default sliders. What do you think of the gameplay?

This is the gameplay that I was expecting in the 09 football games when locomotion was first announced. Its great that they finally realized their ambitions.

A very entertaining game to watch. Offense was on full display for both teams, which also worries me a bit. Where was the defense? Both teams passed and ran the ball at will. I know neither of the teams are defensive powerhouses but I think EA really needs to work on defense for Next Gen. The other two things that stood out. CPU no huddle at the end of the 2nd Qtr instead of calling timeout and kicking FG. That weird center/guard run glitch in the 4th Qtr happens at 10:58. Don't know if it would have made a difference but it was a wasted play that put the CPU at 2nd & 10. Great game to watch though and nice comeback by you to pull out that W. I will be picking this up and hope some sliders can help the defensive side of the ball.

There were a couple of quirks. I've noticed the 2nd half time management thing twice in the early release and once in the demo. It is definitely something they need to look at.

My next vid is going to be playing Heisman. The CPU defense is a lot better but the USER defense is pretty bad.

I'm still debating on which level to play. Use sliders to make All-American more difficult or make Heisman a little more balanced...

Watching this made me want the game even more. I'm not gonna get to worried about the defense on default sliders. It's gonna take some tweaking and then it should, hopefully be better.
