"We have a trade to announce. We have traded Kristian Huselius to the Edmonton Oilers in return for a 2012 1st round pick, and Eric Belanger. First off we would like to thank Kristian for his services here with the Blue Jackets. Next, we would like to welcome Eric to Columbus. We feel as though this trade was helpful to both teams, as Edmonton was in search of a solid 2nd line LW. This trade also benefited us because we now have 2 first rounders that we can use to trade up in the draft if we want."
