The first game of the year did not disappoint! Our Chippewas went up against the newly formed Great Lakes Dragons. This team had a ton of young talent featuring their starting tailback Sam Webber, who ran all over us. I hope that doesn't become a trend this year.
On my side of the ball, we struggled with the ground game but pulled off two redzone rushing TDs when it counted. Our passing game was on all night. Radcliffe posted 267 passing yeards, solid start. It was neck and neck the whole way and GLU early into the 4th until Radcliffe and Harry connected on a 10 yard fade. Our defense came up big and we iced the game away!

With victory number one under our belt, we are heading into Lansing to face Great Lakes State. Hope to see ya in the stands!
