Bowling Green, coming into the season with hopes of a MAC Championship and a potential CFP berth, find themselves at an early crossroads. After falling 0-3 with their 31-10 loss to Iowa State, they know they have no shot at the CFP. They'll need to get their minds right quickly if they still want to accomplish their #1 goal of being repeat MAC Champions.

For the 2nd week in a row, the Falcons were unable to get into any kind of rhythm offensively, finishing with only 46 yards rushing on 28 carries, and Phillip rush passing for only 167 yards.

Defensively they held up for as long as they could, but the dam eventually broke in the 4 quarter with Iowa St. scoring 17 in the final frame to pull away.
