EDWARDS JOINS ESPN TEAM, VAPOR HIRED
KANSAS CITY, MO - MARCH 1, 2008
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards has accepted an offer to become an analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Football. In his place, the Chiefs have hired master teambuilder and strategist Robert Vapor (va-poor) to become the head coach of the team. He was a scout and head recruiter for Michigan University, so he knows their Michigan Spread playbook utilized by top coach Gary Hammmermill. Hammermill was a candidate for the job but he wanted too much money, as did Army's General Sanders. Vapor also knows from scouting other teams playbooks like the Maryland I, Wishbone, and Flexbone that he calls the "College Attack". College coaches usually don't have much success in the NFL, so we'll see if he can turn that around.
