Willi Castro, and Jeimer Candelario homered, providing all the offense, as the Tigers completed a 3 game sweep of the Indians in the opening series of the season. Tarik Skubal went 6 innings, allowing just 2 earned runs, and Michael Fulmer, Gregory Soto, and Bryan Garcia combined for 3 innings of 2 hit relief. Garcia earned his first save of the season.

Aaron Civale went 6 innings for the Tribe, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits.
3B Jose Ramirez left the game in the 4th inning after pulling a muscle in his back. The Indians have him listed as "day to day"

The Tigers will start a three game series against the Minnesota Twins Monday at Comerica Park. All games are 1:10 PM starts. Jose Urena will pitch the opener for the Tigers against Michael Pineda and the Twins.
