The Tigers scored two in the bottom of the 9th, to walk off the Indians, 3-2. The win improves the Tiger's record to 2-0 to start the season. Miguel Cabrera drove in two, including the game winning run with 2 outs in the 9th.

Julio Teheran started for the Tigets, and pitched pretty well, going 5 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs on 2 hits. He left trailing 2-1. Daniel Norris, Michael Fulmer, Tyler Alexander, and Jose Cisnero combined to throw 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. Cisnero earned the win.

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st, on an RBI single by Miguel Cabrera. The Indians tied the game in the second, on Roberto Perez's RBI double. They took the lead an inning later on Jose Ramirez's first home run of the season.

The Tigers tied the game in the bottom of the 9th, on a Willi Castro double. Cabrera then singled up the middle, driving in Castro to win the game.
